About Wallemtunet
A group venue on Kvamskogen between Bergen and the Hardangerfjord — for courses, events, school trips, outdoor groups and private gatherings.
Wallemtunet sits in a quiet spot on Kvamskogen, about an hour’s drive from Bergen — a strong base for active holidays, school trips, courses and get-togethers, surrounded by spectacular West Norwegian nature.
The site is used for courses, family weeks, outdoor clubs, meetings and private events. We also run our own activity programmes, camps and courses for children and families through the year.
Three parts of the site
The main house, the annexe and the local area — together they make a unique group venue on Kvamskogen for stays, courses and get-togethers.

A great base for trips in the Kvamsfjella hills — from the summits you can look out towards the Bergen area, the Hardangerfjord and the Rosendal Alps. In winter, a large groomed trail network starts right outside the door, with Eikedalen and Furedalen ski areas just a few minutes away.
